Lemon Bird Homemade Jams

I was lucky enough to win some jams from Lemon Bird a few weeks ago. They are so good and unique, I've really never tried anything like these. I received 3 jams, the Candy Apple Crunch (which is my favorite) has real apple slices and pieces of candied pecans in every bite. The Blood Orange is my son's favorite, he could have eaten the entire jar in one sitting if I let him. I also received the Kumquat with Tangerine and Vanilla jam which is the most unique of them all. She was brilliant to mix the three flavors, as they mesh beautifully! I noticed that she has just added a summer strawberry jam and I can't wait to try it!
A little bit about her, she and her family vacationed in the South of France a few years ago and were inspired to make their own handmade jams. She said a friend gave her some fresh peaches and Lemon Bird Jams followed shortly! Make sure you check out her shop, she's very sweet and accomodating so if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact her.

She's getting it...

Congrats to Deanna of Dee's Digital Designs, she's the winner of the pearl button ring giveaway. I randomly drew the name of the 3 entries, and though I was pulling for all of you :) she left a great post about a ring she and her sister received made from a cuff link of their grandfather's, so I'm glad she'll have something to remind her of the ring.

You want it?

I think it's time to give something else away. I just made these new rings that look great set against a tan, and even look pretty against my fair skin and freckles! I found some really cool and funky buttons with faux pearls and this really cool, ornate, almost diamond cut looking metal surrounding the pearl. I secured the button to an adjustable silver toned ring base, which makes them perfect for everyone.

To enter to win, just leave a comment in this post. You don't have to comment on the ring, just say hi or whatever. If you don't have a google blogger account, make sure you leave a way for me to get ahold of you :). I'll randomly choose a winner Monday, May 12. Good luck!

Take me to Hawaii

I've been dreaming of Hawaii lately. Sitting on the beach. Listening to the waves and an accoustic guitar. Cold drink in my hand. Flower in my hair. Here are some items from Etsy that may get you in the mood, as well, mahalo...

I'm Yours

This is my new favorite song right now. He's going to be in Ohio in November and I'm hoping to be there. There's nothing better than a smooth voice and accoustic guitar...

Excuse me, waitress...

So, I waited tables, bar tended and worked in catering for years. I really loved it. I loved meeting new people, the fast paced environment, taking care of people and the friendships I made with my co-workers.

I recently met Mary from APRONSWITHATTITUDES who brought back those fun memories. She has a new shop on Etsy that caters to those in the service industry with super cute aprons in all types of funky and fun fabrics.

She's so sweet and runs her business out of her home, like most of us on Etsy. My favorite is the lime green with chili peppers. I love the colors and think it's just so fun. Also, the possibility of jewelry to pair with this is endless!!

Please check out her shop where you are sure to find an apron to fit your attitude! They are not only perfect for waiting tables, but also great for teachers, using around the house or gardening. Here is the link to her shop

New Earrings

I received a shipment of beads yesterday that are so much fun! The colors are perfect for spring and they are really light weight, but most important, super cute.

I have a huge section of $5 earrings in my shop and I'm always adding more :) .

Here are some freshly picked flowers from my Etsy shop....
